Using unworn gold to handmade a chunky remade wedding band

Colin got in touch as he wanted to up date his wedding ring.

His existing ring was now quite thin and plain so the revamped wedding band needed to be heavier and more unique.

We met up to discuss ideas and possibilities.

Colin had a few other rings that he wondered if I could combine while also using his existing wedding band.

 

 

After a couple of weeks I had the pleasure in letting Colin know his redesigned wedding band was ready.

When he saw his 'new' ring he could not believe the transformation!

It fit perfectly and was everything he had hoped for and more.

There was a piece of gold and a small diamond left over from the melt. Colin decided to keep these instead of off setting them against the cost of the remodel. He has plans for a future jewellery remodel.
